QR code batch
Turn one column of a CSV into a QR code per row, as a ZIP of images or a printable PDF sheet, on your device.
QR code batch reads one column of a CSV and turns every non-blank value into its own QR code. Output is a ZIP of PNGs or SVGs, or a printable PDF sheet at perPage codes a page, 9 by default. Column picks the source by name or number, blank taking the first. A failed row is skipped, not fatal.
Questions
Which column of my CSV does it encode?
Whichever one you name in column, either by its header text or by a 1-based number; leaving it blank encodes the first column. Empty values in the chosen column are skipped before encoding starts.
What output formats are available?
zip-png and zip-svg package one image file per row; pdf lays the codes out on printable A4 pages instead, perPage codes to a page with a caption under each one, arranged in a near-square grid.
What does ecLevel control?
The QR error correction level, one of L, M, Q or H, M by default. A higher level makes the code more tolerant of damage or a logo overlay at the cost of a denser pattern for the same data.
What happens if a row fails to encode?
That row is skipped and named in a note after the result, quoting the value that failed and the reason; the batch only stops entirely if every single row fails to encode.
What if my CSV has no header row?
Turn hasHeader off and every row, including the first, is treated as data; the column you name then has to match either that headerless data or a 1-based column number.
What are the output files named?
ZIP formats name each image after the value it encodes, cleaned to safe filename characters, falling back to qr-1, qr-2 and so on when a value produces an empty name; the PDF output is always called qr-batch.pdf.
