Shamir's Secret Sharing combine
Combine any K Shamir shares, in any order, to recover the original secret, computed on your device.
Shamir's Secret Sharing combine parses lines shaped K-of-N share i: hex, checking that every line agrees on K and N and carries its own distinct index. Any K of them rebuild the secret through Lagrange interpolation over GF(256), regardless of paste order. Too few shares, a mismatched K or N, or a repeated index all get refused before combining starts.
Questions
What format do the pasted shares need?
One per line, shaped K-of-N share i: hex, exactly as shamir-split printed them.
What if the shares do not all agree on K and N?
The combine is refused, naming the mismatch.
What if I paste fewer than K shares?
It is refused with a message naming how many are needed and how many were given.
Does the order I paste shares in matter?
No, any K of the shares reconstruct the same secret regardless of order.
What if two shares have the same index?
A duplicate index is refused, since the reconstruction needs distinct positions.
Can I use this from the command line?
Yes, the same code runs on the page, the CLI and MCP.
