X25519 key pair generate draws 32 random bytes for the private key, derives its matching public key for Diffie-Hellman exchange, and wraps both under fixed RFC 8410 PEM headers. With no options to set, every run hands back an unrelated fresh pair. The private key comes out unprotected by any passphrase, so the page output itself is the secret to guard.
