Binary decode
Binary decode. Runs on your device, nothing is uploaded.
Binary decode reads 0s and 1s separated by spaces or commas and turns every eight-bit group into one byte, the reverse of encode-binary. A character in a group that is not 0 or 1 stops the run, and the error names the group and its position. Readable text comes back as text; anything else downloads as decoded.bin rather than showing broken characters.
Questions
How are groups separated?
By spaces or commas, each group read as one 8-bit binary byte.
What happens with a non-binary digit?
The tool refuses, naming the invalid group.
What if there are no groups at all?
The tool refuses with "no binary groups found in input".
What does the output look like?
Valid UTF-8 text prints directly; anything else downloads as decoded.bin.
Can I use this from the command line?
Yes, the same code runs on the page, the CLI and MCP.
