Morse decode
Morse decode. Runs on your device, nothing is uploaded.
Morse decode splits your input on slashes into words, then reads each word's dot-dash groups back into letters from the table encode-morse builds. A code with no match in that table is skipped instead of guessed, and a tally of skips closes out the result. Input yielding neither a letter nor a tally is refused as empty.
Questions
How are words separated in the input?
By a forward slash; within a word, letters are separated by spaces.
What happens with an unrecognised code?
It is dropped rather than guessed, and the output ends with a count of how many groups were dropped.
What if the input yields nothing at all?
The tool refuses with "no morse groups found in input".
Does it share a table with encode-morse?
Yes, the reverse lookup is built from the exact same table encode-morse uses, so the two are always consistent with each other.
Can I use this from the command line?
Yes, the same code runs on the page, the CLI and MCP.
