Decode barcode batch

Decode every QR code and barcode across a batch of images into one table, on your device.

Input

Decode barcode batch scans every dropped image for QR codes and barcodes and lists one table row per hit, naming the file, the symbology and the decoded text. An image with nothing readable still earns its own row saying so. Any tab or newline inside a decoded value is flattened to a space so it cannot split the table wrongly.

Questions

What does it detect in each image?

Every QR code and barcode zxing-wasm can find, since the reader is asked for all formats rather than one specific symbology; each valid result becomes its own row in the output table.

What happens if an image has no barcode in it?

That image still gets a row in the table, with the format and value columns left blank and a no barcode found note instead, so a mixed batch does not silently drop the images that failed.

What does each table row show?

The file name, the symbology it matched, such as QRCode or EAN-13, and the decoded text, in that order, tab separated.

What if the decoded text itself contains a tab or a newline?

It gets flattened to a single space before being written into the table, since a raw tab or newline inside a cell would otherwise misalign the tables own columns for every row after it.

Does it work outside the browser?

Yes. It has no browser-only restriction, so the CLI and MCP surfaces read the same batch of images and produce the same table as the page.
