Rotate PDF

Turn pages 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Drop as many PDFs as you like.

Runs on your device. The file is never uploaded.

Rotate PDF turns pages by setting each page's rotation property, the value every reader uses for orientation, and saves the file with a -rotated suffix. Each turn is added to the rotation already on the page, wrapping at 360. Only 90, 180 and 270 are offered, so an arbitrary angle is out of reach.

Questions

Does it rotate the page or only how it is displayed?

It sets the page's rotation property, which is how the PDF format itself expresses orientation. Every reader honours it, and the page content is untouched, so nothing is re-rendered or degraded.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Leave "pages" blank to turn the whole document, or give numbers and ranges like 2,5-7 to turn only those.

What if a page is already rotated?

The turn is added to what is already there and wrapped at 360, so 90 applied to a page already at 270 gives you 0, the same result as turning the physical sheet.

Can I rotate a batch of files?

Yes. Drop as many PDFs as you like; each comes back separately with a -rotated suffix, and the same angle and page selection is applied to each.
